Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life..
Many of us are angry, shaken and if we were honest afraid, because of the events of the past week. While it is true we are in uncharted waters, and it is yet to be seen what these decisions will bring, one thing is sure we serve the only true God who does not change. In a sense everything has changed but with Him nothing has changed.
The topic of my devotional this morning was “In The Midst Of Trouble”*. It is inspired by Psalm 138:7
Whenever I walk into trouble,
You are there to bring me out.
You hold out Your hand
to protect me against the wrath of my enemies,
and hold me safely in Your right hand.
If we are afraid that God has abandoned us we should not be. Jesus promised to never leave or forsake us and He will keep His word no matter what may come. I am encouraged this morning by this promise and the words from Philippians 4:4-6
Rejoice! Keep your gentle nature so that all people will know what it looks like to walk in His footsteps. The Lord is ever present with us. Don’t be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come!
Rejoice, be gentle, He is near, don’t be anxious. Pray, and be thankful for what has come.

Yes! Thank God and thank you for your uplifting, encouraging word! May we all be edified, encouraged and inspired by and through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us; the Counselor, Helper, Comforter, Teacher and Guide!! (and so much more!!) Jesus said “I will NEVER leave you, I will be with you ALWAYS”
There are no promises like this in the world, but remaining in Jesus as he is in us, “Christ in you” we bear much fruit and have the hope of glory!!!!!!!!
