Inexcusable

I have not read Trey Gowdy and the Select Committee on Benghazi’s 800 page report. Even though I have not read it I know two things.

  1. Despite repeated requests for more security before the attack, and requests for help that never came during the thirteen hours of the attack, no help was given. No reasonable explanation has been given as to why.
  2. The loss of these lives and the failure top protect them is inexcusable. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s statement as the hearings were concluded was as follows “I’ll leave it to others to characterize the report, but I think it is pretty clear it is time to move on”.

Maybe for you Mrs. Clinton, its time to move on, more important things to do than be concerned about an event that happened three years ago on your watch.  But for the families of

John Christopher Stevens

Sean Smith

Glen Doherty

Tyrone Woods

It is  not easy to move on,  to have closure with so many questions left unanswered…
