Hope and change…

We all face defining moments, crossroads in our lives. The life of a nation is no different. I believe we may have passed one of those defining moments in the life of the United States of America on November 8 2016

Donald Trump is not the Savior of America.

In fact a tough and challenging road is ahead for him  as he leads a nation divided on so many fronts, no single person can solve all the problems set before us a nation.

Mr. Trump and those he chooses to surround himself with will need our continued  prayers in the days ahead.

That being said, we may never know the full scope of  disaster that was averted on November 8th 2016. In my 63 years I have not witnessed a season where the enemy was more at work than he is now in our nation and the world.

We need to be about our Father’s business.

He is not willing that any would perish, but that all would come to repentance. And pursuing that mission of being and bringing light into darkness, is the most important thing we can do for our country.

I wrote early on in this 40 day Journey that people change the course of a nation and I still believe that. Those who choose to  bring the message of the good news, the gospel  of Jesus Christ, bring real hope and change…

Father God I pray today that healing would begin in our nation.

I pray that the things that divide us would be overshadowed by the desire for peace on earth, goodwill towards all people.

I pray today for unity in Your church. That we would chase after the two things you said are most important, loving You with all we are, and loving others as we love ourselves

I pray You would bless our leaders with  wisdom and courage in the many challenges they will undoubtedly face in the coming days.

Thank you for all you’re doing and all you will do

God Bless America
