We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go… Hebrews 6:18 MSG
If there were one question I could ask you today, it would be how is your hope?
In Colossians 1:3-5 we read “we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, we have heard of your love for God’s people, the faith and love that spring from hope.”
Faith and love two of the three great treasures in 1 Corinthians 13, spring from hope, but for many hopelessness has made it difficult to have faith, difficult to love and care.. John Eldredge writes “the highest things that make a heart worth having and a life worth living-rise and fall upon the condition of our hope.”
We all need hope in whatever season we may be in our lives.
To that end for 40 days I would like to focus on the things that give us hope. And ask your help in doing so.
As often as you can for 40 days, take a minute to post your thoughts, comment on the daily posts, post Bible verses that give you hope as often as you can.
Hope is the mightiest force of all powered by love and faith. Hope increases our faith, increases our love for one another. Hope will never fail to satisfy our deepest needs. Romans 5:5
