Hope For the Weary

40 Days of Hope-Day 15

Those who hope in the Lord….Don’t you know? Haven’t you heard?
    The Eternal, the Everlasting God,
The Creator of the whole world, never gets tired or weary.
    His wisdom is beyond understanding.
 God strengthens the weary
and gives vitality to those worn down by age and care.
 Young people will get tired;
strapping young men will stumble and fall.
But those who hope in the Lord will regain their strength.
They will soar on wings as eagles.
They will run—never winded, never weary.
They will walk—never tired, never faint.  Isaiah 40:28-31

Is hope tank low today, feeling weary and tired? Good News! Our God who never suffers setbacks, or feels weary and tired, helps us when we do. He enables us to persevere when we are weary, gives hope when we are hopeless, and when our strength inevitably fails, He sustains us, we find fresh strength, hope, encouragement in Him!

When we have hopes based on the promises of God we can have expectant hope, not “maybe” hope.
For all of us He promises if we put our hope in Him he will
      1. Deliver us from all evil Matthew 6:13 (in fact He encourages us to pray and ask Him to do so)
      2. Deliver us from the kingdom of darkness
      Colossians 1:13-14
You have rescued us from dark powers and brought us safely into the kingdom of Your Son, whom You love and in whom we are redeemed and forgiven of our sins [through His blood].
I will pray with you that you would https://widgets.wp.com/notificationsbeta/2711909515#find not only peace but freedom through the blood of Jesus that was shed for You!
