– Jesus was raised from the dead, setting him apart as the Messiah, our Master. Through him we received both the generous gift of his life and the urgent task of passing it on to others who receive it by entering into obedient trust in Jesus. – Romans 1:2-7
Is there an urgency in our hearts to pass on the generous gift of life we have received, made available by our Lord Jesus?
Do you have members of your family, friends, co-workers who have not yet received this gift Paul speaks about.
Do we have an urgency to reach out to them?
God’s plan is to rescue everyone who trusts Him.
But the enemy has a plan as well.
While we are occupied with other things, he is relentless in his efforts to kill, steal and destroy.
He works through human mistrust, wrongdoing, and lies that attempt to shroud the truth.
And even though what may be known about God is plain, out in the open they refuse to accept Him as God.
Reduced to worship of the creation instead of the Creator their lives are diminished and trivialized with no direction, and ultimately no hope.
Many are his victims.
The Message we must proclaim as faithful witnesses to the truth and the power that lives in us is this
” I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation for everyone who believes”
“The person in right standing with God by trusting Him really lives”.
It is an urgent matter, today is the day of salvation…
