Already-Not Yet

You and I live between the “already” and the “not yet”.

Jesus has made the ultimate sacrifice.
The wisdom of the Word has been placed in your hands
The Holy Spirit has come to live inside of you.

But the full work of God in you is;
Not Yet
You have to understand where you live or you will find yourself confused and unprepared over and over again.
Sin has not been fully eradicated, you are not yet all grace will transform you to be.
The last enemy has not yet been placed under the powerful foot of the Messiah.
The moral battle rages.
The spiritual warfare goes on.
And be clear it is on this the turf that the battle, the warfare, is fought. It is warfare for your heart and it’s fought for control of your soul.
Your life is lived every day in the middle of that war.
At the epicenter of that war is this question:
Will the Lord do what he promised?
Will the Lord provide?
Can I step out in faith knowing He is with me?
Or do I have to worry when push comes to shove, I won’t have enough?
Should I be afraid or is God trustworthy?
When you hit these hard times when your weakness is exposed be ready for the enemy to whisper in your ear ” where is your God now”?
And be ready to respond,
“He is where he is always been and always will be–with me in
power, glory, and grace.”
He will never abandon me. He is the one who said,
“I am with you always”
He never goes back on His word.

“I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me.  No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,  I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.”  Philippians 3:12-14
