Who shall I say sent me?
Moses asked “who shall I say sent me?”
God’s answer to Moses “I AM WHO I AM” is translated YWHW or Yahweh. The name is considered so sacred that Jewish people for centuries have refused to speak it. But this is merely a translation that points to the meaning, not only who but what. Moses was sent by the the Eternal One. The Self Existent I AM. The One whose signature is “in the beginning”, who is, and was, and is to come. And He alone transcends time, history and existence.
He is El Shaddai the Almighty, All Sufficent On.
Elohim keeper of the covenant.
Eloah the Redeemer.
El Elyon, the Most High God.
El Olam God of Eternity.
El Roi God who sees.
Adonai, Lord, Ruler, and Master.
He is Jehovah Eloheenu, the Lord our God.
He is Jehovah Elohai the Lord my God.
He is Jehovah Hoseenu the Lord our Maker.
He is Jehovah Jireh who sees and supplies all our needs.
He is Jehovah M’Qaddesh the Lord who sanctifies us.
He is Jehovah Nissi the Lord our Banner.
He is Jehovah Rapha the Lord who heals.
He is Jehovah Raah the Lord our Shepherd.
He is Jehovah Sabaoth the Lord of Angel Armies.
He is Jehovah Shalom the Lord is our Peace.
He is never changing. His word always true and faithful.
And the I AM who revealed Himself to Moses came down to us to be our I AM.
In all of His majesty, power, wisdom, and glory He chose us, to make us His children, recipients of His great love, grace and mercy. And the best news of all, from everlasting to everlasting….
“Freely You gave it all for us
Surrendered Your life upon that cross
Great is Your love
Poured out for all
This is our God.”*
